To be eligible for the B.El.Ed program, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum percentage (usually 50% or above).
- Some universities may specify specific subject requirements in school education (e.g., a minimum of 50% in English or Mathematics).
Age Limit:
- Minimum age of 18 years; no upper age limit, though some universities may impose an upper age limit of 30-35 years.
- A relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for reserved category candidates.
Additional Criteria:
- Only regular, full-time classroom programs are valid. Distance education is not allowed.
- Candidates should be physically fit with normal vision and hearing.
- Reserved category candidates must provide valid certificates.
