The Bachelor of Laws (LLB) is a 3-year professional law degree designed for graduates who aspire to build a career in the legal field. This program provides in-depth knowledge of legal principles, judicial systems, and legal frameworks essential for practicing law in courts, corporate firms, government organizations, and legal consultancies.
To be eligible for the LLB program, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree (BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BTech, etc.) from a recognized university.
- Minimum marks requirement: 45% for General, 40% for SC/ST (varies by institution).
Age Limit:
- No fixed upper age limit as per the Bar Council of India (BCI), but some universities may have an upper limit (e.g., 30-35 years).
